Project: The Dock

A dock is a wonderful thing.  It's a bridge between land and water, one that allows you to bypass the muck and weeds of the shore en route to a brisk swim, to get in a boat without getting your feet wet, or to get your feet wet without soaking the rest of you.  They come in myriad shapes, sizes and styles, and it's the characteristics of your waterfront that will determine what's best for you.  My waterfront, for example, is so shallow, muddy and reedy that I'm not yet sure what I'm going to do...
